Howdy! I dreamed about you last night! We met in San Francisco and it was raining, and everyone was sledding down an icy slope on cheap metal sleds. And you had this sideways eyebrow piercing. You were with another girl, presumably your lady friend, and you were famous and it seemed like you were over the novelty of it. I approached you and introduced myself, but you passed me by on your way inside a house. As you shut the door I shouted (a bit pathetically, I think) “But you’re my favorite writer!”
